How to use the auction house in World of Warcraft

Begging for money is tacky and annoys other players. Instead, utilize the tools provided in the game to make money.

Find something to sell. This is easier than it may seem at first. If you find a green item throw it up on the auction house. You can also vendor items you get through your professions. If you find a vendor that sells a limited item recipe snag it even if you can't use it. They usually sell for a nice profit.

Search the auction house to see if the item you have is already up for sale. If there is already one or more there put yours up for slightly less than the lowest priced one.

Always add a buy out price. A lot of people won't even look at your auction if there is no buy out price.
