How to Make Gold on World of Warcraft in One Day

In the World of Warcraft, the main currency used is gold. Players can use their gold to buy armor, weapons, enchants, mounts and other miscellaneous goods. You can even use gold to get other players to craft items for you with their trade skill, or you can hire someone as a mercenary to help you complete a quest quicker. If you need to make gold quickly, you can do a combination of things to get it.

Complete quests to earn item rewards, gold and experience up until you hit level 80. You can sell unused item rewards to a vendor to make extra gold. At level 80, quests reward you with even more gold instead of experience. When you approach level 70, daily quests will become available that you can complete over and over every day, so you don't have to worry about ever running out of quests to complete. Pick quests that are right next to each other so you don't have to waste time traveling between quests. After you load up on quests, empty your bags of all unneeded items before heading out. Sell your junk items to a vendor and deposit any valuable items in your bank.

Kill creatures and use your gathering professions as you run around questing. Every time you kill a creature, you can loot its body and gather everything it has. Creatures usually have a small amount of gold, some junk items and possibly some useful items that other players may want to buy. If you are a herbalist, loot all the plants you see. If you are a skinner, skin all the creatures you kill, and if you are a miner then mine all the nodes that you come across. Keep killing creatures until all of your quests are complete and all of your bags are full.

Return to your base camp to turn in all of your quests, claim the rewards, and sell any junk items that you have in your bag to a vendor for an extra bit of gold. You can tell if an item is junk because it will be gray. Save any items that you can use with your crafting professions or anything that you think other players might want. Players will usually want to buy green items, but if you have any blue or purple items you can always sell them for a good amount of gold because they are rare and very useful.

Go to one of the main cities and put up all of your useful items in the auction house. You can usually earn a lot more money from non-junk items when you sell them to other players instead of a vendor. You enter in a starting bid and a buyout bid if you would like. You also pick how long your auction will last; you can pick from 12-, 24- and 48-hour durations. When the auction ends, the player with the highest bid will get the item and you receive the gold in the mail. The auction house will also take a small cut out of your profits, but the amount is negligible compared to your profits.
